(Portland, OR) -- A Portland man is facing manslaughter charges in connection to a man's death in August of last year. The Multnomah County District Attorney's Office says 28-year-old Alex Delane Alexander turned himself in to police on Wednesday for the death of 60-year-old Lavoy Blackledge. Alexander is pleading not guilty to charges of manslaughter and second-degree assault. Blackledge was found dead on a sidewalk in Southwest Portland on August 28th of 2019, and an autopsy later showed he died from homicidal violence. Police haven't released details yet on exactly how he died.
