Unemployment Benefits Increase For Residents With Temp Jobs

(Salem, OR)  --  Oregonians on unemployment can now make more money if they have a temporary job.  A change approved by the Oregon Legislature increases the amount they can make while receiving benefits from 150 dollars a week to 300 dollars a week.  The Oregon Employment Department didn't expect to complete computer changes to make the new limit possible until December, but they got it done ahead of schedule.  The change is effective from September 6th through January 1st, 2022.
