(Portland, OR)  --  Dozens of demonstrators gathered on Mississippi Avenue last night to protest systemic displacement.  KATU reports the protest was sparked by the eviction of a couple due to what one protester called a "foreclosure from a predatory loan."  The protester says his parents were in the middle of a lawsuit to fight the foreclosure when they were evicted.  This, despite the ongoing moratorium on foreclosures through the end of the year.
