(Portland, OR)  --  The U.S. Department of Justice is calling Portland a "jurisdiction permitting violence and destruction of property."  Attorney General William Barr gave that designation to Portland and New York City yesterday.  Barr also designated Seattle, Washington an "anarchist jurisdiction."  Barr claims the three cities' leadership, "have refused to undertake reasonable measures to counteract criminal activities."  The statement follows an order from President Trump earlier this month to review federal funding in the Democratic-led cities.  Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler calls the move a "cheap political game," adding that it's also unconstitutional.
