Police Break Up Breonna Taylor Protests

(Portland, OR)  --  Demonstrators in Portland are expressing anger over a grand jury decision not to charge police officers with the deadly shooting of Breonna Taylor in Louisville, Kentucky.  Hundreds of demonstrators gathered last night in front of the downtown Justice Center and near the Portland Police Bureau's Central precinct.  Portland police and federal officers broke up the gatherings and declared a riot.  Police say a handful of protesters were targeting the precinct with rocks and fire.  The protests follow word from Kentucky's Attorney General that the only charge being filed in the police raid that killed Taylor is for wanton endangerment of Taylor's neighbors.
