(Hood River, OR)  --  Recent rains have reduced fire danger in the Columbia River Gorge.  The Forest Service says it's reopening several parks and other areas that had been closed due to fire risk.  Several sites including Eagle Creek and Herman Creek that were closed due to previous fire damage will remain closed.
