(Lincoln, OR) -- An Oregon woman is alive even though her bank thought she had died. Judy Cashner told OregonLive.com that she thought it was kind of funny when the bank notified her estate that she had passed away, but now it has become a much bigger issue. Cashner claims Wells Fargo told three credit agencies that she had died, which took weeks and thousands of dollars to clear up. Cashner says the fees were refunded to her account. While Wells Fargo did not comment on Cashner's case especially, it says the bank uses a Social Security card and death certificate to prove death.
