(Salem, OR)  --  Multiple people are dead following a deputy-involved shooting during a reported hostage situation in Salem.  The Marion County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to a home in the 200-block of Juneva Place Southeast yesterday afternoon on reports of a hostage situation.  At some point during the ordeal, shots were fired.  Police say there were multiple deaths, including the suspect.  At least one deputy opened fire, but it's not yet clear who fired the fatal shots.  No deputies were hurt in the incident.
