(Salem, OR)  --  Oregon's mask-wearing media campaign is going national.  The Portland ad firm Wieden [[ WHY-den ]] and Kennedy created the "A Mask is Just a Mask" campaign for the state.  DIRECTV has agreed to run the ads at no cost.  Wieden and Kennedy also donated their time.  Governor Kate Brown says wearing a face covering protects the people around you from COVID-19.  It'll be especially important during the colder winter months as more people head indoors.
