(Portland, OR) -- The president of the NAACP of Portland is stepping down after his current term amid accusations of sexual abuse. Reverend E.D. Mondaine says he will not be running for a second term. He denies the allegations first reported by the Portland Mercury that he repeatedly sexually abused three male members of Celebration Tabernacle from the mid-90's to the mid-2000's. He says the accusations stem from a relationship that ended badly 20 years ago. Mondaine has been president for four years.
