(Portland, OR) -- The Portland Police Association now has a new president. Union members have voted in Brian Hunzeker [[ HUN'-sek-er ]] to replace outgoing president Daryl Turner, whose term ends next month. Turner has served as president for a decade. He's been outspoken in his criticism of how the city has handled protests. He has said restrictions on the use of tear gas and failed leadership have hampered police ability to curtail what he calls violence at protests.
