(Portland, OR) -- A 28-year-old man is facing several charges including manslaughter and DUII following a wrong-way crash that killed a person in Portland. Police believe 28-year-old Brian Paul Gardner was intoxicated when he drove his car the wrong way on I-84 near the Halsey-Gateway exit yesterday. Police say he was going around a curve when he crashed into another vehicle head-on. The other driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardner was hospitalized for minor injuries before being arrested.
