BLM Moms Group Holds March Through Lake Oswego

(Portland, OR)  --  A group of Black Lives Matter protesters are taking their message to one of Portland's whitest suburbs.  The Oregonian reports the group Moms United for Black Lives gathered at Lake Oswego's Rossman Park yesterday morning for a march through the city.  U.S. Census data shows 86-percent of Lake Oswego residents are white, and the suburb has a median household income of about 100-thousand dollars.  Local activist and organizer Demetria Hester gave a brief speech before the march, encouraging people to call out racism wherever they see it.
