(Juneau, AK) -- Oregon is getting more than one-million rapid-response coronavirus tests from the federal government. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced yesterday it's sending one-million-270-thousand Abbot BinaxNOW COVID-19 point of care antigen tests to Oregon. The department says the shipment is intended to help "facilitate the continued re-opening of Oregon schools, businesses and economy." Officials say the rapid response tests can diagnose COVID-19 within 15 minutes.
