(Portland, OR) -- Oregon's tally of coronavirus cases continues to surge. The Oregon Health Authority confirmed a whopping 424 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday along with seven new deaths. Deschutes County had it's second-highest daily total with 26 new cases. The state's daily average for new cases over the past seven days is up ten-percent from two weeks ago. Oregon has now seen a total of 43-thousand-228 cases and 671 deaths since the pandemic began.
