Election Day Unrest

(Portland, OR)  --  Local leaders are continuing to prepare for potential unrest before and after Election Day next Tuesday.  The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office, Portland Police Bureau and Oregon State Police held a press conference yesterday afternoon to share their plans for maintaining a safe election.  The agencies say they will be increasing staffing in the coming days to help keep the peace.  Earlier this month, Portland city leaders and state representatives met to work out a unified command plan for election night.  Details of that plan have not been released.
