(Salem, OR) -- One woman is dead following a shooting in Salem. Police responded with Salem firefighters for a welfare check on Norway Street Northeast near McCoy Avenue early yesterday morning. They found a woman who'd been shot. Police say 32-year-old Amanda Mankins was taken to a hospital, were she died. Investigators say they don't believe there's a danger to the public. There has not been an arrest in the case.
