(Tigard, OR) -- A 26-year-old man is dead after being shot by police in Tigard. The shooting happened last night at an apartment complex near Hall Boulevard and Bonita Road while officers were responding to a domestic disturbance report. Police say suspect Jacob McDuff was sitting in a car and was armed with a knife when officers tried to arrest him. McDuff allegedly refused to surrender to police, leading to a struggle in which an officer shot and killed him. The shooting is being investigated by the Washington County Major Crimes Team.
