Unemployment Adjudications Reduced

(Salem, OR) -- Officials say most of the 52-thousand unemployment claims that have been under review for months in Oregon have now been completed. The Oregon Employment Department started an effort in September to finish the adjudications. Fewer than 150 of those claims need to be reviewed. More adjudicators have been hired and trained which increased the speed of the process. There are 13-thousand new claims that now need to be reviewed.
