(Portland, OR) -- A man is in federal custody after allegedly firing multiple shots into the U.S. Federal Courthouse in Portland on Friday evening. Federal prosecutors say 39-year-old Cody Melby of Beavercreek jumped a security fence at the Hatfield Courthouse and used a nine-millimeter handgun to fire several rounds into the outside of the building. No one was hurt. Melby was taken into custody without incident. He's charged with destruction of government property.
