(Salem, OR) -- Four Oregon counties are moving into the Extreme Risk category for COVID-19 restrictions. They are Baker, Clatsop, Coos and Morrow counties. There are now 26 counties in the Extreme Risk category. It has the tightest restrictions with no indoor restaurant dining and no indoor fitness facilities. The changes take effect on Friday. Governor Kate Brown says until vaccines are widely available, Oregonians need to wear masks, wash their hands, maintain physical distancing and avoid large groups to keep COVID-19 transmission rates down.
