(Portland, OR)  --  Democratic U.S. Senator Ron Wyden is asking the IRS to investigate groups involved with organizing a rally that took place just before a pro-Trump mob stormed the halls of Congress.  President Trump encouraged his supporters at the rally to march to the Capitol building.  Five people were killed in the hours that followed.  Wyden wrote to the head of the IRS Friday saying some of the groups may have helped incite or facilitate illegal acts.  He said those groups could lose their tax-exempt status if they engaged in illegal activity.
