PPB Prepared For Possible Protests, Violence

(Portland, OR)  --  Police are gearing up for possible protests and violence on Inauguration Day today.  The Portland Police Bureau says officers will be working to protect people's constitutional right to assembly and free speech while also maintaining peace, protecting life and preventing violence or property damage.  The bureau says that as of yesterday morning, it's not aware of any current active threats of violence.
