Health Departments Shut Down COVID-19 Vaccination Applications Due To Shortage

(Portland, OR)  --  Health departments in Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas counties are shutting down applications for COVID-19 vaccinations to people in the Phase 1A group.  The departments say there isn't enough vaccine to meet the demand now that Governor Kate Brown has added teachers and people older than 65 to the group of residents eligible for the vaccine.  A total of eleven-thousand people signed up to get vaccinated, and officials say it could be months before they are.
