Police Arrest One During ICE Protest

(Portland, OR) -- Police arrested one person during a demonstration outside the ICE building in south Portland Wednesday night. Police say demonstrators threw items at federal officers and lit a dumpster on fire in front of the building. Police responded to move the crowd away so Portland Fire & Rescue could extinguish the small blaze. The Portland Police Bureau says officers used one round of less lethal munitions, but no tear gas was used.
