(Portland, OR) -- Oregon is dealing with nearly one-thousand new coronavirus cases. The Oregon Health Authority reported 964 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday along with one new death. There have now been one-thousand-958 deaths from COVID-19 in Oregon and more than 143-thousand cases of the virus since the pandemic began. A total of 271 Oregonians are currently hospitalized, which is down five from Sunday.
