(Portland, OR)  --  Nearly two dozen more Oregonians are dead after contracting COVID-19.  The Oregon Health Authority confirmed 23 new deaths yesterday, raising the state's death toll from the pandemic to one-thousand-981.  Officials also reported 619 new cases of COVID-19.  Oregon has now seen nearly 144-thousand confirmed cases of the virus since the pandemic began.
