(Salem, OR) -- The Portland Metropolitan area is moving into an improved COVID-19 risk level on Friday. Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas counties will go from the "Extreme Risk" category to "High Risk". The shift will allow restaurants and bars to have indoor dining at 25-percent capacity. Indoor recreation businesses and fitness centers can also have 25-percent capacity or 50 people, whichever is smaller. A total of 12 Oregon counties are moving to an improved risk level, while fourteen counties will remain under "Extreme Risk" guidelines for another two weeks.
