(Portland, OR)  --  Governor Kate Brown is allowing outdoor contact school sports to resume under certain conditions.  COVID-19 health protocols need to be in place, and schools need to resume at least limited in-person instruction before sports can resume.  Brown says if school gyms, fields and weight rooms are to reopen, we owe it to Oregon's children to make sure classrooms, libraries and science labs fully reopen as well.  In High Risk and Extreme Risk counties, schools need to have on-site COVID-19 testing for people showing symptoms of the virus.
