Detroit Gets Grant To Build Temporary Water System

(Detroit, OR)  --  The city of Detroit, Oregon is getting one-million dollars to help build a temporary water system.  The U.S. Department of Agriculture awarded the grant earlier this week.  Detroit's water system was destroyed by the Lionshead Fire last September, and it still hasn't been replaced.  Most of the city's downtown area was destroyed by the blaze as were several homes.
