(Oregon City, OR) -- Firefighters responded to two chimney fires in Clackamas County yesterday as residents resorted to using their fireplaces to warm their homes amid power outages caused by the weekend winter storms. Clackamas Fire District One says no one was injured in the fires. Fire officials are reminding residents that chimneys need to be cleaned by a professional every year in order to prevent chimney fires. Officials are also warning residents never to use a barbecue grill as a heat source inside the home.
