(Oregon City, OR) -- The Tri-City Water Resource Recovery Facility in Oregon City is running on generator power due to electricity outages caused by the weekend's winter storm. PGE says it's working to restore power to the area. In the meantime, the facility is warning the public to avoid contact with the Willamette river water downstream of the facility for the next few days. The facility is unable to treat sewage to Clean Water Act standards while running on generator power.
