Loggerhead Turtle Stranded On OR Coast Flown To San Diego For Recovery

(Newport, OR) -- A stranded loggerhead turtle that was saved from the Oregon coast is continuing to recover at SeaWorld in San Diego. Officials say the turtle was flown to San Diego over the weekend. She will eventually be released back into the wild. Officials say the turtle was found earlier this month near Lincoln City with a temperature of 50 degrees. A turtle's normal temperature is 75 degrees.
