Officials Seize 48 Starved Horses From Yamhill County Breeder

(Portland, OR)  --  A horse breeder in Yamhill County is facing animal neglect charges for allegedly starving dozens of horses.  The Yamhill County Sheriff's Office says it seized 48 emaciated horses from 82-year-old Susan Swango's property for severe neglect earlier this week after a five-month investigation showed they weren't being given enough food and water.  Officials also seized seven cats.  Swango is due in court March 24th.
