(Portland, OR) -- No injuries are reported after a ski lift broke in the Timberline Ski Area, leaving more than three-dozen people stranded. Timberline officials say staff members used ropes to evacuate 42 people stuck on the broken lift Saturday night. Officials say the malfunction was due to an electronic problem. The skiers were stuck on the lift for over two hours before officials were able to get them down.
