(Portland, OR) -- Oregon is reporting more than a dozen new coronavirus deaths, including that of a 27-year-old man. The Oregon Health Authority confirmed 13 new deaths yesterday. Officials say the 27-year-old victim was a Jackson County resident. The Health Authority also reported 269 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday, including Oregon's first case of the new Brazil variant. Officials say the person infected with the new variant traveled recently and is cooperating with health officials.
