(Salem, OR) -- A man is facing charges in connection to two armed robberies in Salem. Police say 32-year-old Javier Francisco Diaz Torres pulled a gun on the owner of a Mexican restaurant on Market Street Sunday and demanded food. He then allegedly stole items from a nearby Walmart a few hours later and threatened an employee there with a gun. Police arrested him on two counts of robbery, unlawful use of a weapon and menacing.
