(Salem, OR) -- Governor Kate Brown wants to expand health care to all Oregonians, even if they aren't legal citizens. Brown testified in a hearing of the House Committee on Health Care yesterday in support of HB 2164, also called Cover All People. The bill would provide health insurance coverage to the six-percent of Oregonians who don't have access to health care. Brown says it's an important part of the state's goal to provide equity in health care by 2030.
