Police Release New Details In Officer-Involved Shooting

(Portland, OR)  --  Police are releasing new details regarding an officer-involved shooting near Corbett over the weekend.  The East County Major Crimes Team says 57-year-old Randy Gattman was armed with two guns during a standoff overnight Friday into Saturday morning.  Police say he fired at officers, prompting them to return fire, critically injuring him.  He remains hospitalized.  The officers who opened fire have been identified as Multnomah County Sheriff's Deputy Mark Farmer and Gresham Police Officer Michael Webb.
