UO, OSU Students Sue For Repayment Of Tuition For Remote Classes

(Portland, OR) -- Students from the University of Oregon and Oregon State University are filing class-action lawsuits seeking repayment of tuition and related fees. The two separate lawsuits claim the schools charged students full-price for online classes that were of lesser quality than traditional in-person classes. Neither school offered to repay students' tuition after shutting down their campuses due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The lawsuits were filed earlier this month in Multnomah County Circuit Court.
