(Portland, OR)  --  Portland Police Chief Chuck Lovell says he's working to rebuild trust with the community.  Lovell made the statement yesterday in response to recent controversies involving the Police Bureau.  Those controversies include the sudden and unexplained resignation of the president of the Portland Police Association last week.  Lovell says he agrees the public has a right to know why Officer Brian Hunzeker resigned but that an internal review is just getting started.
