Police Arrest Suspect In March 7th Shooting

(Portland, OR) -- Police say they've made an arrest in connection to a shooting last month in southwest Portland. Police arrested 34-year-old Noah Charles Smith yesterday afternoon after receiving a tip from the public. Police say he's a suspect in a shooting March 7th near a homeless camp at Southwest Barbur Boulevard and Southwest Capitol Highway. He's facing charges of second-degree attempted murder as well as first-degree assault, first-degree robbery, unlawful use of a firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
