(Portland, OR) -- Nearly half a dozen more Oregonians are dead after contracting COVID-19. The Oregon Health Authority reported five new coronavirus deaths yesterday along with 567 new cases of COVID-19. The agency also reported 20 new hospitalizations, raising the total number of Oregonians hospitalized with the virus to 197. Oregon has now seen more than 171-thousand cases of COVID-19 and two-thousand-446 deaths since the pandemic began.
