(Portland, OR)  --  The Oregon Department of Occupational Safety and Health is considering enacting a new rule to extend the state's mask mandate indefinitely.  The agency says the rule is necessary in order to protect workers from the novel coronavirus as the pandemic continues.  Oregon's current mask mandate is set to expire next month.  The agency is currently taking public comment on the idea.  A decision is expected to be made before May 4th.
