April Could Be Portland's Driest Since 1956

(Portland, OR)  --  Meteorologists say the month of April is shaping up to be Portland's driest in over six decades.  KATU-2 reports Portland's rainfall total for April is at zero-point-26 inches as of yesterday.  Portland usually sees an average of one-point-63 inches for April.  The driest April ever recorded in Portland was in 1956 with a rainfall total of zero-point-53 inches.
