OR House Approves Police Accountability Package

(Portland, OR)  --  The Oregon House is approving a package of nine bills increasing police accountability.  The bills passed yesterday would set expectations for behavior and character of police officers.  The bills also create new officer training and set Oregon on a path for greater transparency on police matters.  The package of bills now heads to the Senate for consideration.
