Man Charged With Bias Crime After Allegedly Threatening Asian Man, Son

(Scappoose, OR)  --  A man is being charged with bias crime after allegedly threatening an Asian man and his son at a grocery store in Scappoose.  Police say Adam Graham approached the victims inside a Fred Meyer on Saturday as they were getting ready to pay for their items at a self-checkout kiosk.  Graham allegedly threatened to slit the man's throat and also threatened to sexually assault his son.  He then allegedly punched another man who tried to intervene.  Graham is being charged with two counts of first-degree bias crime as well as second-degree bias crime and two counts of fourth-degree assault.
