(Washington, DC) -- Groundbreaking is scheduled today for two new transportation projects in Portland and Vancouver. The U.S. Department of Transportation announced late last week it has approved 100-million dollars for an extension on the MAX Red Line between Portland International Airport and Hillsboro. Another 25-million dollars was approved for Vancouver's Mill Plain Bus Rapid Transit Project.
