(Salem, OR) -- Health officials say the Pendleton Round-Up Rodeo earlier this month may have been a super-spreader event. Several counties in Eastern Oregon are reporting surges in COVID-19 cases. Governor Kate Brown says she's concerned for hospitals that are already overwhelmed with COVID-19 patients. Health care officials are moving patients to hospitals that have extra beds. Brown says 15-hundred members of the Oregon National Guard remain on duty and can help, if necessary.
