(Salem, OR) -- Governor Kate Brown is urging people who are eligible to get the Pfizer COVID-19 booster vaccine to do so. Brown issued the recommendation yesterday, saying the state has plenty of Pfizer vaccine for the boosters. In order to be eligible, residents need to have gotten their second shot at least six months ago and be 65 or older or between the ages of 18 and 64 with underlying medical conditions. People living in long-term care facilities or those who work in jobs that put them at high risk of getting COVID-19 are also eligible for the boosters.
